All of the following images are examples of medium close up shots. As shown, each image has the persons head and shoulders and no body is shown. These shots are used in films, television programmes, photographs and magazines. I personally think that medium close up shots look effective and emphasises the persons facial features and gestures, in order to make it easier for audiences to understand the persons emotions.
